rev limiter
ok I got the H22 in my 95 accord Ex ...just wondering if there is a way to chance the rev limiter make it higher??I know hondadata will but i dont want to spend that much any other suggestions Thks
u shouldnt be using the stock accord ECU on an H22 anyways, assuming thats ur situation.....if its the ecu from a prelude, dont touch the rev limiter.....its there for a reason, it protects ur engine......if u are using ur stock ECU (which is retarded and doesnt allow the VTEC to run properly on the H22).....u can always get it chipped or by a variety of less expenisive plug and plays

assuming you have the proper ecu, cause if you didn't your car wouldn't rev past like 6k. there is no extra power to be gained by removing the rev limiter unless you have engine mods that make power past 7650 rpm cause a stock H22 will not.

i highly doubt he's using the accord ecu if he's got an h22 swap...he's most likely running a p13...anyway, the factory rev limiter is fine...you shouldn't be revving your motor that high anyway...
