d-series and b-series are completely incompatabile...unless I've missed something..

Nope, you gotta use a B16 cable tranny, or a GSR cable tranny, I wouldn't use the LS cable tranny if I were you....

You can also use a Hydro tranny but you have to get the new Hasport kit.

There is an adaptor plate to run d series trannies on f and h blocks though.

'90-91 A1 tranny from the Integra LS has decent gearing.

It works in a pinch, and it's cheaper & more common than a B16A tranny, but shorter than later LS trannies.

yeah they are cheaper...but I got lucky and found a JDM Y1 for cheap...yay for me...so now I can sell the A1 I have...
