please help with dpfi to mpfi distributer

Default please help with dpfi to mpfi distributer

ok i have all the wiring diagrams and instructions but my question is what to do about the distributer the dx harness doesn't have a plug to fit so what am i supposed to do go get a new plug and cut and solder it on to the harness or what im at a loss on this one

also i am having to put vtec on a toggle switch does anyone here know how i can do that

I used the Si style plug on my DX harness..

No,You don't have to cut and solder,
Just release the pins from the DX connector and insert them
into the Si type connector..

Yes you need the round plug from an si to do it correctly. I would not recommend cutting the wires, rather de-pin them and re-install them on the new plug. If the si plug is unavailable you can revert an si distributor to a dx square plug and run your other two wires external.

find some sewing needels or a pick set. they will help you de-pin the plug.

does anyone have a write up on how to change the si plug to the dx or can you just match up wire colors if you just match up colors then im sure i can pull it off any more info you can give me would be great
