Motor or Nitrous dyno chart??? **LSVTEC**
Got this from importreview.
I'am not trying to start **** but dose this look like nitrous was used or dose "vtec" come in that strong? - don't flame, I'm just learing.

The issue in this graph, is that the VTEC crossover point hasn't been tuned yet.
If the crossover point was lowered to maybe 4800 rpm or so, it would be less of a jump.
One reason this happens is because the cams and ECU are straight B16. They are tuned for the 1.6 liter characteristics, now its a 1.8 liter motor.
General rule of thumb is that using a cam on a larger engine will move the power peaks down the rpm range.
If that engine was tuned better for both new fuel maps and vtec activation point, it would be smoother, although there still is a jump when vtec engages..

The thing about tuning makes sense,
I've never seen vtec come on that hard on a dyno chart before, a first for everthing I guess
Thanks for the info.

This was a chart done to show a very "stock"ish lsvtec setup...as you see, stock b16 ecu.
When I dynoed my car, with stock vtec settings there was a 13hp and 13tq difference at the crossover. I dropped vtec down to 4700 and smoothed that whole area out.

hehe
On nitrous the jumps are bigger for shorter times but torque is crazy on nitrous
