i have a 2000 civic ex, i just put in a 2002 rsx wheel in, everything went great.
but the srs on the ex wheel is yellow 2 wire. and the rsx is a yellow 4 wire.

what do i need to get this to work.

Thats a tough one,

I don't think there is a way b/c the RSX has dual stage igniters/deployment velocities...hence the four wires of the same color One pair for each explosive device.

Your civic has a one stage singe deployment velocity...If you knew wich wires were for the primary deployment of the RSX air bag, would the civic srs control unit be able to read the bags resistance and deploy it or not.

You picked a great site to ask that question..........I'd probably post it again in the EG forum and see if any of those guys know.

what about this.

since there is 4 wires. 2 for each stage of deployment.

im sure both stages run of the same current to trip the bag.

can i splice 2 of the wires together, to make it a single stage, and then wire in my 2 wire plug.
