Stop car from bouncing after suspension drop!!!!
I have a 95 civ and I recently lowered it 3 inches with a coilover kit, but now it bounces more than a 2 year old on his grandfather's knee!!! What can I do to fix this? Different struts? springs? Any ideas...I need some help!

You need decent shocks. The stockers don't have the ability to dampen anything when their default max amplitude is 3-inches lower than normal.
yeah new struts man
max your goina get a 2 inch drop outta your stockers...without too much bounce. I have 1.7 and 1.5 front and back and still bounce a tad. But nothing too bothersome.

Cheap no name coilover kit with the springs and threaded collar. I realize that the strut has more play than the spring and so it just jump up...so any suggestion to new struts to whole package.

KYB AGXs since you seem to be on a budget. I'd recommend getting them from http://www.coximport.com (I'm not affiliated in any way, just a happy customer). Just gotta ensure that the sleeve fits on the new shocks.

they're great only if u don't go past 1.5-1.75 lowering. otherwise it voids the warranty and they just won't hold up.

I really don't think any shock manufacturer would handle a warranty claim if you're lowered 3 inches. At that point you might as well get air bags.

Lifetime. They cost a good bit more though. I also didn't find the "fine print" that most warranties come with, I would assume there is some somewhere.

DONT JUST BUY SHOCKS! This wont fix your problem. I had a pair of Arospeed coilovers on my crx w/ agx's and it was bouncy as hell. I would suggest, if your on a budget, to buy some used h/rs or neuspeeds. Then get some agx's. Matter of fact, I have some used Neuspeed races if you want them, 2.5 in the front and 2.25 in the rear i believe.
I'd suggest getting springs and shocks if you don't wanna go with the full coilover suspension setup..... because its kinda pricey but even if you bought some decent springs you'll feel a big difference then the 'sleeved' coilovers. My friend jus swapped his sleeved coilovers for some springs and feels a huge difference and his rollin with stock shocks. But if you wanna go baller, go Tein Flex with the EDFC
