11.75" and 12.2" 4 piston kit design work is complete
I finished the test fitting today with the prototype hat and both the 11.75" and 12.2" rotors fit inside the stock 15" wheels. There is a small amount of work that needs to be done to the caliper ends and top to provide clearance. Takes about 5 minutes with a dremel tool.
I'll be taking the final specs to the CNC shop on Monday to get my costs on the new hat design. I've changed the design from what I had to what can best be described as an upside down pie plate with countersunk holes for the allen bolts that attach the hat to the rotor.
The 11.75" rotor weighs 9 lbs complete and the 12.2 weighs 10 lbs, compared to 13 lbs for the stock 10.3" rotor.
The calipers weigh 8 lbs with pads and the stockers weigh 15 with pads, for an overall weight savings of 10-11 lbs per wheel.

I'm still hoping to keep them at $800. If they are more than that I won't be making them. I have decided to keep everything I sell at or below the $800 mark(with a couple of exceptions).
I plan on using the Superlite IIA calipers, but the Billet Superlites will fit with a bit more caliper trimming.
