Anyone with Volk Gram Lights having paint chipping problems??

Anyone with Volk Gram Lights having paint chipping problems??
Ok first my buddies GramLight stickers fall off, thats ok i guess..
Next the paint on the OUTSIDE LIP starts chipping off. WTF!! all he does is wash them and massage them like a Volk wheel should be. These are too nice of a wheel for this to happen. anyone else's gramlights having these kinda of problems?
any suggestions as to why/how this happened in the first place?!!!??

No problems here. I believe Gram Lights are powdercoated, not painted. They should hold up to some abuse. I can't believe your stickers fell off..that sucks

what does your friend use to clean his rims? some cleaners maybe too abrasive and cause that problem or he may get the chips from the abuse of everyday driving.

Yep, that could be it. I use an old lambs wool mitt and some carwash soap on my TE37s. No problems what so ever.

Yes they do, when I had my tires de-mounted so I could ship the rims to their new owner I notice the clear coat I guess you would call it, was starting to chip off. There was even silver paint on my tires
