Default D16A6 Camshafts - how to identify

I understand the 88-89 CRX si has different camshafts than the 90-90 CRX Si. This plus the different ECU account for the difference in the engine hp output between the years. Can anyone tell me how I can tell the difference between the two types of camshafts? I've looked for stamped part numbers but to no avail. Lift ? duration ?

Thank you,

Robert J.

If I remember correctly (not sure though) the 88 ecu is different from the 89-91 ecu's. and program is still the same but the 88 has a different ecm chip that can't be changed
