alright, i finally got off my lazy *** and am going to change my cap and rotor. dealeaship has two different part numbers for the gsr and itr distributor p72 and 73 respectively.

is there any physical difference between these units? i'd thing they would be the same. anyone in the know.....

no jacknob. i bought one. never changed it. me lazy.

 

30102-P72-006 is the cap you should use.
30103-P73-003 or 30103-P08-003 for the rotor.

 

Thanks for the response mike. i had already ordered the p73 rotor number.....So, is there much of a difference between the gsr and itr distributor rotor?

gsr actually takes 06304-P72-006
itr takes 30103-P73-003
the only visible difference is the gsr rotor comes with a new rotor screw and a new leak cover for inside the cap. oh, and the gsr one costs like $2.00 more.

30103-P08-003 is del Sol VTEC/ B18b and it's visibly identical to the p73 part. it's a few cents cheaper is all.
