On my 5th gen accord i am trying to install a strut bar, but on the passenger side strut tower there are some wires blocking the mount for the bar. What are these wires and how do i solve this problem??? can i just move them or do i have to find a different mount for this bar???

 

I don't know of any wires there....post a pic, its a little bit easier to see what your talking about.

 

The wires can be lowerd with some engineering...just find something that can lower the location of the wires mount...A flat piece of metal in an L shape will solve your problems if you have a dremel/drill to make holes in the piece...I dont know if another mount would work or if one is made...

I had this problem on my 4th gen.
Move them.

yea me too, just move them around.

 

i also ran into this while installing the strut tower bar, so i just moved them without unhooking them obviously.....

 

yeah, just move them, it worked for me too
