Default well i found my motor and tranny

I found the CL-S motor and tranny and i am trying to decide if if is worth the money. The guy wants like $4280 for both but it does not have the ecu or the wiring harness.

Dunno if that is reasonable...4200$ for a motor and tranny(milage?) and no way to make it work in your car? Would be an additional 500(optimistic) if you are lucky to get an ECU and harness

you have to remember this is not a b16 with tranny. This is a rare motor and tranny.

I am well aware...but when someone has a 30k Euro R motor for less than that with an ECU, and TRANS...for under 4k...and A front cut with 50k for 4500...that does kinda seem HIGH. that is all I am saying. What is the Engine Code on that Acura Motor? is it a C30? Just attempt to get the motor and trans for under 4 and you can get an ECU and harness for 500 maybe?

well, that LSD is probably worth what an ECU is worth...so it doesnt seem to bad...good luck with it...going to be a pretty sweet set-up

The swap is going to be very rare and original.. i always wanted to throw one of those in a 5th gen.. god your lucky, thats an o.k deal for a rare engine.. I would do it.. even if you dont have enough for Ecu and such.. just keep saving and keep on with the project.. dont let anyone tell you otherwise.. just make sure its the correct engine with the correct code on it.

They had a 3.2 litre in a new accord at the sema show last year...its was a yellow coupe...not certain if that was the same engine...it had the same HP numbers though...its going to be a sweet set-up...Good luck and I hope you can find an ECU...and harness

I am still not sure if i am gonna do it. I could go ahead and buy it but that would seriously put a hit on my money situation cause i am in college and that is not good. I am gonna have to descide soon cause i am sure this thing will not be there forever. I am sure i will figure this all out eventually.
