Neuspeed 4-pt strut bar 96-00 Ek expect 99-00 si. Why not Si?

Neuspeed 4-pt strut bar 96-00 Ek expect 99-00 si. Why not Si?
I'm looking for a new front strut bar, since my stock peice is cracked at the welds on one side. I like the design and price of the Neupseed but looking at the applications they offer, it says for 96-00 civic but not 99-00 Si's. Can anyone clue me in on to why the 99-00 si's cant use it. Thanks.

i have that same bar on a 96 dx hatch and it wouldn't clear my 00 B16 swap but cleared the stock d16y7 .thats probably why

thats exactly why my friend tryed to install it on his 98 ek hatch w b18c and didnt clear the engine so i have it in my car now d16y8 turbo
