Any D-series parts fit B-series??? (Alternator, starter)
Hey...
Just like the title says, can I use a D-series alternator from a '96 d16y8 on a B16a swap? What about the starter?
Am I just too cheap to buy new ones... the answer is yes!!!

nice... another biker...
That is a Cervelo R2.5 carbon road frame. I was going to get one but I ended up getting a Calfee Luna Pro instead.

No, most of the bigger D and B series parts aren't interchangable (and actually the starter and alternator are pretty different from D to B)...
Yea most of the little stuff is, sensors (i.e. oil pressure sender, temp sender, ECT, IAT, FANC, KS, etc. excluding the dizzy and IAC tho), injectors, and the like...
Thanks again for the help. My last engine swap was a complete ITR motor. This one is pieced together part by part so that is why I am trying to find out what I need.
