I need to upgrade my injectors to something a little bit larger than stock and was considering prelude injectors. I just spent a ton of money on the head so the cheaper the better. I can get used prelude injectors for 100 bucks, which is a good deal, but still, its 100 bucks. The guy that tunes my car gave me some buick GN injectors. They are old, but all flow(tested them). The only downside to the GN injectors is that Ill have to bore out the fuel rail and the IM for the new injectors, theyre slightly bigger. He has the right bit and I know hes capable of it, but would you do it? Any suggestions? Thanks

i already maxed out stock injectors, so yes i need something bigger. as for boring them out, all i have to do is buy injectors with an "american" bore to them, mustang injectors, camaro, etc

100 bux is fair for 97+ 290cc h22 injectors, they are getting harder and harder to find.
h23 injectors are 240cc.
i know where some 310's are in raleigh for 200 bux if you want those.
chances are 280 or 290's arent gona be big enough. those tend to max out at around 190hp at 8200 rpms.

brad said i could stay with my stock injectors and run 60psi. I want a little more insurance than that. as for my setup:
jdm gsr
11.4:1
rlz stage 2 cams
rlz stage 2 pnp
intake
an-r header, no exaust
skunk2 IM
ericks 68-66 tb
hondata
b&m regulator

it would prolly take more than 60psi to do it on stock injectors.
on the last b20vtec i did we were running 55psi fuel pressure, making 195hp, reving to 8500 rpms and the prelude 290cc injectors were really close to maxed out, around 90%.
not sure what those cams will do but i would guess you will have more power than that b20vtec, not to mention more revs
