I'm wakeing up early on a saturday, and I plan to spend the whole day washing waxing and detailing my R. Am I crazy? Am I the only one??

 

I do the same and i did it for the last 15yrs for all the Hondas & Acura i own but now my gf is giving me hard time of spend more effort on ITR then her!! I don't care because its my pride and joy and don't give me BS.

I'm doing it today as soon as it warms up to about 50 outside. There's an IDRC event tomorow.

I hate washing and waxing cars...I usually don't do the inside at all unless the windows get really dirty. Mine stays in the garage most of the time and don't park it in the sun, so I don't really wax it much...I'll wash it when it needs it, but I"m not **** where I need to do it every week...I'm lucky if I do it once a month...but she is still in mint condition except for a two door dings...

I'm all about her looking nice, but I hate spending all day taking care of it, especially how often it rains down here...I'll take her out, it'll rain for 5 minutes and that's enough to ruin my whole days work, so I don't see the point...I try not to take her out in the rain, but it doesn't work that way here in S Florida...

 

Yup, every weekend I wash and wax. It sucks in GA, 'cuz we have a water restriction law... I can only use the water before 10AM on odd days. So, my wash & wax day alternates between Sat and Sun every week. I've gotta work on my detailing skillls though... I don't pay much attention to the interior and engine bay. Oh well.

 

yes , i am like you , i woke up early to wash my car and i just finished . bling bling.. i detailed the whole interior , wheels , outside , engine bay , waxed and changed my oil. BTW i only do this once a month though , the oil too.

I wash my car about four days a week and wax it about once a week.I work at a detail shop......so it has it benefits

Some of us (ie us 97-98 boys with CW wheels) have to pull our wheels off to really clean them. Now thats dedication
