My most commonly used are

10 mm short and deep socket (both 6 and 12 point)
12 mm short and deep socket
14 mm short and deep socket
17 mm short and deep socket (both 6 and 12 point)
19 mm deep socket
21 mm deep socket

philips head and flat head screw drivers

10, 12, 14 17, 19 mm open end wrenches

feeler guages
wire cutters and strippers
torque wrench
sautering iron
good jacks and jack stands

and most importantly a hammer and some zipties -- then some beer or something for those stressful moments after you have to use the hammer and zipties.

There is a lot more, but these are some pretty basic ones to get you through most of the honda fixers

Avoid open end wrenches. Open end wrenches aren't for breaking bolts/nuts free, they are for removing them after they are broken free. Box end wrenches will lead to less skin donations.

Helms manuals - made of paper but just as powerful as any other tool
~A metric socket set of shallow and deep sockets, with a good ratchet.
~torque wrenchs
~DMM - digital multimeter, you'll thank me later
~crank pully holding tool or a really powerful impact gun

Scene is in a movie, using it to label working on import cars is ghey

Cotter pin pullers
Pickle Fork
Sledge Hammer
Bolt Biters (Look like evil little sockets with twisted razors in em...for grabbing stripped bolt heads...Craftsman has a great set of them. They've yet to fail me)
Rubber Mallet
Magnetic Wand
safety glasses
Sawzall (Milwaukee, if you wanna get serious)
Impact Gun (Electric, Snap-On )
Honda Valve Adjustment Tool (Snap-On)
Any good drill
A Dremel Tool (You'll surprise yourself daily with the uses you find for this thing)

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure I've got more...aside from the basics, of course .

From my experience you can never have enough tools. The above listed are the basics you will need. but here are some others

32 mm axle nut socket
breaker bar
impact driver
feeler gage
rubber mallets
dremel , best tool i ever bought
multimeter
and a good air compressor , it makes everything 10 times easier
Helms manual

The Snap-on Valve adjust tool is a must, it will save you headaches and a lot of swearing.

The Snap On has I think 20 ft.lbs more torque, but the extra 200 buck I don't know if it is worth it, the Craftsmans battery replacements are cheaper 60 bucks I have two, I like it, and it does me well. I also like seeing people struggling with axle bolts and then I dip into my trunk and pull out my bag and

and off comes the Nut !!!!!!

Craftsman well worth the money.

lol at first when I read this I thought he was calling us TOOLS.......*anyhoo*

Lets see whats been left out so far:

dont forget your honda bond!

copper anti seize for the spark plugs

spark plug gap tool

spark plug socket w/ rubber insert

2ton min. jack w/ low profile to get under your car if lowered + jack stands

latex gloves (chemicals leach into your skin)

I  my digi calipers (very nice but not a must)

assembly lubricant

break parts cleaner (you dont want to breathe that crap)

simple green (best engine degreaser period)

Thats all I can think of at the moment.........
