Alright I got the mail this morning and I see I have something from old bridge township (E-town) I open it up and its a 10-99 form for all my winnings of the year. I know I should have excpected it, but this was the first year I won a bunch of events and now I have to pay taxxes on my winnings....I guess I'll be expecting some from other tracks. Don't get me wrong im still a pig in **** that I won money this year, but it just caught me off guard. Oh well thats my little rant for the day.

 

some tracks send em, some do not, also wait till manufacturers send em for contingency. Anymoney won or awarded, is taxable......

i had a Honda letter last night and I was excited and saw my total for the winnings this year. that totally sucked. wheres the money now?

 

DAMN , that sucks. someone told me it wasnt taxable becuase of the track paying some kind of taxes for it ? i guess it was BS. i knew it was too good to be true. lol

That's messed up, didn't know they did anything like that... Is this new because "so far" we've never had anything like that over here...

 

don't feel bad. you're not the only one. just be happy you didn't file your taxes already.

 

Your award/winnings will not be filed with the IRS unless they exceed $400 with a company.
