It's usually a good idea when changing the clutch or in a situation like yours. It usually runs around $30-$35

it would be a good idea since it is out of the car. I just got mine done for $40. Think of it as "insurance" that it is in good shape.

depends on how bad it is now, depends on how hard you romp the clutch and shift nd depends on how much power your car makes.

I never resurfaced mine (at 100k miles) when I installed a clutch and it didnt effect the clutch for the next 30k miles... so I'd say if it looks good and measures flat, youre good to go.

as long as you don't see a bunch of heat-tempered areas (bluing and such) on the surface, and as long as it is flat, then you have no worries.

but if you're going through the trouble of putting a clutch in, you might as well have the flywheel re-surfaced. the local autozone here in my area does it for free....

yeah I heard it was a good thing to do, but it does not always have to be done.

If it is a brand new clutch it needs to be done. Its not very expensive to have done i think i useually get my done for like 25-30 bucks but you can expect up to about 40.

if it is not done sometimes it will wear the clutch out rather quickly.

get it done so you know you have a full contact patch ...because if you install it and you dont...then imagin all the work you have to do to take it out to do something you should have done at the begining...feel me..

I would always get it done, is it worth putting a brand new clutch in, only to have it chatter and wear faster to save 40 bucks?
