what kind of 'diagnostic software' are you talkin bout ? something that you plug in
and it troubleshoots for you ?

Take it to an AutoZone to check the codes if there is one around.

 

Yes... the Honda dealership should have them. They are quite useful for doing other things than just check diagonistic trouble codes. Dataloging, activating switches and solenoids, etc. You want to try lowering your vtec change over, you can use one of these babies to change over at any point you desire... secondary intake runners as well!!

Snap-on and other aftermarket manufacturers should sell them too.

However if you only want to check your trouble codes save your money and jump the service connector.
