Im buying a radiator support from this guy this weekend who says its from a 99-00. He has a 96-98 with a 99-00 front and is selling me the front. I need to know if theres a way of telling the difference between the 96-98 and the 99-00 radiator support. I wouldnt want to buy another 96-98 one.
Bump for a good question. I was wondering the same thing, because i heared if you do a 99-00 front end conversion on your 96-98 civic you have to get a new radiator support is that true?

u dont HAVE to...u gotta mod ur grill somehow to make it fit or something...itll fit better if u had the 99-00 radiator support though...
You could try to run the Honda number off the tag at the dealership, and see what pops up as to wich year it's from. other than that i dono?

yeah...i know...but i can get one for like 25 bucks extra...so...itd be cool just to have it bolt on without cutting...
theres to two tabs on the 96-98 RS on the front where the grill sits, all you gotta do is break it off by pushing it up then down, then up, then down again until it wears down and breaks...thats the only difference i see
