question about axles for b16a

Default question about axles for b16a

well i have a b16 ready to go in soon and i was wondering if 94+ teg half shaft and axles will work on this engine, thanks

Most people use the 90-91 teg axles and half shaft. Just so you know on the axles there is a dust seal you need to remove off the end of it. You also need to remove a dust seal from the inside of your hub where the axle goes in. If you don't do this your axles will bind up and your car wont move.

yes i am aware most ppl use the 90-93 teg axles but i am wondering if 94+ teg axles and halfshaft will work

hey i was wondering wen i did my swap i dont knoe if my the person who did my swap took out the dust seal and like now my car is stuck n it wont move.how do i fix this?

yeah they work but you need to get 94 integra axle seal or it will leak very slowly

ask the person that did the swap if he or she took it out..if they didnt its not a big deal just jack the car,remove the axle nut,remove the shock lower mount,remove the lower ball joint castle nut then hit the axle out the hub and turn back the hubs,,then remove them with a xxxxxxxx

i put that basically because people have different methods of removing them and also it might be on there locked tighter then a ************...so just use whats necessary without damaging the hub,or little spines..

i personally used a small pry bar .

i only take out something from the hubs right and theres nothing to take off the axle itself?
