Another great place is HMotorsOnline.com Steve is a great guy to deal with and wont stear you wrong. I think they are all out of stock on EF9's right now, and I dont know about the EF8 stock. Call or email them and talk to Steve.

my front end from hmotors wasnt in the condition they claim them to be, dented up hood, front bumper wass really rough with srapes and even wear holes from aftermarket fogs or something, and i got two passenger bumper lights instead of a driver. thats after waiting like a month and a half to get it. but they did offer to replacethem free, but i would have to pay the return shipping.

No, it means you have an ED8.

to clarify hes just being technical..... usdm cars dont have the same letters.... EF8/EF9 are the jdm RHD SiR models of the Crx/Civic
just like usdm 92-95 hatches are EH2 while the jdm ones are EG6
and 96-00 EJ6 while the jdms are EK4 (SiR) or EK9 (CTR)
No, it means you have an ED8.</TD></TR></TABLE>

You have to keep in mind that EF8/EE8 chassis is not quite the same as an ED8/ED9 - they are different in more ways than the obvious LHD/RHD. Some products made by the JDM tuner companies and specifically listed for an EF chassis will not fit an ED chassis. Sure, many parts are interchangeable between the two, but some parts will require modification or extra parts to fit/work properly - and then there are some parts that just don't work at all.
This could include suspension parts, engine mounts, chassis braces, body panels, climate controls, etc.
You just have to keep your eye out for things like this. Don't automatically assume that all "EF" parts will fit your USDM 4th-gen Civic/CRX - there are too many people who use the use "EF" incorrectly and it just causes confusion.
Why people use chassis codes in the first place is still a mystery to me.
Everybody knows what a "CRX Si" is, but not everybody is going to know what an "ED9" is. Most people end up using the wrong chassis codes anyway, like you just did -- '92-95 US hatchbacks are not all EH2s, nor are '92-95 JDM hatchbacks all EG6es.
Sorry for the rant, but I felt it was necessary. No offense intended to anyone here.
