JUN III cams, and a slight bump in compression will yeild the resluts you are looking for. I ran JUN III cams on stock bottom end and hit 166whp and 102wtq. So, if I would have had a slight bit more compression then I would have easily hit 175... HTH

just get some big cams. you are running obd 1 and good bolt ons. at least a typer TB and manifold and tuning. that goal isnt a problem.

i hit 163 with type r cams and full type r valvetrain with a slight port and polish, raised the compression by half a point. were actually dyno tuning it this week with cam gears and a type r intake manifold with spoon throttle body, looks like we'll hit over 170. oh yea, we tuned it with hondata, it cost about 4000 to rebuild with all these parts, not bad.

actually mine was on a Mustang... and you're relying too much on dyno numbers here. I can make a car show 175whp, but only have 100.... dynos lie, track times are where it's at.

If you want to be sure to get 170 whp just get a B18B bottom end, lol j/k. That makes a lot of B16 people mad. If you want a good idea about setups and a pretty good guess about how to get x amount of hp this is a good site: http://www.importreview.com

Hope this helps.

BTW, advanracing62 has the best avatar I have ever seen .
