I'll be there, continuing working my way up the HPDE ladder (2 events under my belt, a lifetime more to come....)
And since I'm from SoCal, and about 30 minutes from Fontana, I'll be at CalSpeedway next month, too.
-always looking to make new friends. If anyone doesn't mind giving me a ride in their HC car during practice, I'd love to take you up on it. (always looking for ways to learn more.) I'll be in the Pearl Red '01 Integra LS.
And since I'm from SoCal, and about 30 minutes from Fontana, I'll be at CalSpeedway next month, too.

driving out for the DE all the way from cali? thats what im talking about! i thought i was the only one doing that. ill be happy to give you a ride along

Won't be the first time; I was at the last NASA AMP event in January, just before they lost their permit. The drive isn't that bad (as long as you get out to Palm Springs before the traffic gets bad), and my sis lives there, so the weekend doesn't cost too much, either.
What are you running? I'll look for you right after the driver's meeting.

The last 3 events I was doing this too, I live in Santa Monica. I have the 2000 Black Jetta, the only VW out there. Anyway yeah once you get past Indio its all gravy. Its not that bad in traffic if you have alittle Tom Leykis to listen too Im moving home next week, so I dont have to do that drive again for a while. See ya at PIR!!!
