i remeber my cousin had it on his coupe before it got stolen, i loved that exhaust. it soudns so quiet too. and you can hear the vtec switch over. imo i like an exhaust that doesnt really attract to many attention. i had an es oval on my hb. the power was great, but i really like the sound of the ws, so i sold it and got that instead, i sacrificed some power, but i would much rather sacrifice power and that loud sound than a ticket.

its a bad picture but u get the idea

WS is too big and flashy for my liking. I'd rather have a less flashy, just as quiet, and better performing exhaust.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

here's some more pix:

and the album: http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287805809

As for how it sounds on my car; I like it! I was looking around for the longest time cuz i didn't want an exhaust that was loud or fart-like. I just got back from driving around with it and i noticed i lost some low end power. Not like my stock Z6 had much to begin with, but the 2.5" piping and straight pipe makes it seem really gutless now. It's still fun above 5000rpm but i hardly drive around there. It's kinda loud and resonates at the 2500-3000 range under load. Without a cat, the exhaust fumes really stink...

In terms of looks, i think the tip is way too big..i would've liked a smaller tipped canister but i can't complain for how much i got the system for. It doesn't seem to rattle either, although i had to remove a heatshield to allow clearance for the piping. Anyone else using the WS? Thanks again for the feedback guys, really appreciate it

i'm guessing you removed that heat shield as well? lol, my clearance seemed tight, but it hasn't rubbed at any rpm yet....

nice exhaust! I want to get the same one. I checked out the imagestation album.. is that a skunk2 tie bar? and what kind of red sway bar is that? How's the clearance between the exhaust and the sway bar? and get some sound clips if you can for us!

I have it on my 94 hatch and love it. I painted the muffler black and left the tip polished. Sounds great with my b18c1 and 421 header.

smaller muffler=louder exhaust.

Are you sure it's 2.5". I also got the WS for my EG and it's 2.25". I didn't have to remove any heat shield but mine does appear to rub at the axle connection... where the two flanges connect at the rear axle, it is touching the frame where my brake line for the right rear is running...

I haven't actually driven it since installing it becasue I've been doing some other work with the suspension and installing my disc conversion but the closeness of the flanges and my brake line does concern me. Has anyone else experienced this with their EG Coupe?

its not 2.25 or 2.5. its in MM (forgot the exact #), but its ~2.38", same as the N1.
