are racing shoe shoe laces special.. or can i use any old lace?
i found a pair of shoes, but one is missing the laces. i was curious if i could just goto the local shoe place and get any old white laces. or are these special fire proof laces?

I got new Nomex shoe laces from - of all places - an Air Force PX. Same place I got my first set of Nomex undies...
