Any other hard rubber bushings besides Mugen?

I'd like to eventually replace most if not all of my suspension bushings, and I don't know if I really want to deal with a full urethane kit (and possibly harsh ride and squeeking problems), or with the cost of brand new OEM or Mugen rubber bushings. Does anyone else make rubber bushings that are harder than OEM?
I don't know from hard rubber, but there is a company that has been mention a few times on this board that makes softer Urethane ones than Prothane and ES. Can't recall the name at the moment though

If the OEM bushings are not falling apart, are they really hurting the performance that much? This is something I have wondered for a while now.
delrin, but you have to make them yourself, which isn't too monumental of a task, just time consuming when you're a full time college student like myself

That's a really good question that I don't think you will ever answer. I have been told that much of the decision is based on your suspension geometry and how much it differs from what was intended for the OEM bushings. It also comes down to the dynamics of your car (how's that for vague!). For example, most people have told me to stick with OEM up front for the CRX knowing that I'm much lower and much stiffer up front than OEM would be. Then you look at SM cars off the showroom floor replacing all of their bushings

you might try finding a machine shop that will work with plastics. that is the only place i know of, at least in the metro Atlanta area. they will need to spec their machining with your original bushings also.

Well my car does have 157K miles on it. I'm also extremely particular about my alignment, running over -2 deg. camber in front, and I want to keep the alignment settings as exact as possible. If the bushings are worn, it can keep you from getting the settings as exact as possible.
I know for a fact my front swaybar bushings are shot to hell, I'll probably just replace those w/ some ST greasable ones from AutoZone.
