6.5" reference components for that price! I'd say it's a nice deal, considering I got mine for about $260 last year. It'll make a huge difference!

Too bright for my taste, but please tell me you bought them from an AUTHORIZED DEALER so you don't make my store disappear. Quart has some serious problems with knockoffs now. I've seen some of them, and they are pretty close appearance wise, even the boxes! Make sure it has a Hologram serial # on the back of the woofer (if it's a "E" series). Support your local car audio dealer, even if you pay more upfront, you'll be glad you did when the speakers isht the bed, cuz no matter what they say, you have NO warranty. Enough, my head hurts.

I understand what you are saying but when the cost is half you can buy a second pair if they break . The internet is killing the retail business and it will only get worse.

If i can get the Q Series 6.5 components for $600 shipped and the regular price is $1100-1200, do you think that they are knock offs? Cause ill be damned if im gonna buy that **** if it is. this is from onlinecarstereo.com. If they were then wouldnt this store get shut down?

You are saying that the Q Series blew them away? im looking at the QSD216 set for $1100. Ive heard these and they sound sooooo freakin good. i heard the difference between another series and yeah BIG diff. So are the Focal Utopias comparable? MB Quart is a name i trust. Never heard of Focal. Just a few people saying they're good. Its like some other countries line.

need to know more about focal? get in contact with ATF KUK.

the reason why the price is cheaper because they do not have a physical store to be open and no real salesmen are needed. It saves them money and in the end, you'll save too.

So you think i should go with the Q series to start off or Premium?

$600 vs. $300?

I think the best way is to just match them. That way, you won't be able to tell the difference. I think that people say that the reference series are the ****, because maybe they haven't compare them side by side with better components. If I didn't have the QM's up front, I would have thought the Reference series sounded clear as can be.

check your install for airleaks and the phase of your speakers. the reference series 6.5" is known for their really good midbass, with their really low Fs. Better than the Q-series.
