Accord Stock Shifter Getting Sloppy. Suggestions on Rehab Parts???
At 147k miles, my shifter finally feels like it's gettin "loose". No shifting problems but just a feeling of vagueness in the linkage.
Anyone have suggestions on what parts typically need rehab?

And...anyone know how to display this image properly?
TIA

lol - no...probably any one i find will be in worse shape than mine. That's kinda like looking for clutch pedal covers....all the ones you find are lousy.
I thought about the 4bidden shifter...seems like a nice piece. I esp. like how people describe it sliding like the bolt in a bolt-action rifle. However, if I can tighten up the feel of my stockie for <$15...I'd probably do that.
But then again.....
