I don't think it affects flow at all. When I grabbed the "S" end of the B-pipe the rattle quit, indicating that the rear portion is placed to far inside the resinator.

mikehonda: who is disappointed with spoon quality control

I believe Alan @ A&J put it best when I spoke to him about getting a Spoon B-pipe: "It is not a question of if the b-pipe will start rattling - its a question of when .. Get the T1R!"

my spoon b-pipe rattles *only* when driving hard. i got mine the same time as mikehawnder and it seems his was "worse". in the end, it seems that batch of b-pipes were poorly made.

no noise - driving like ms. daisy
noise - driving like gansan

kepani-who silently thanks 'hawnder for the *good* one.

I didn't have the Spoon b pipe on my car for long, but it did not rattle at all while it was in use.

hmm..now i'm caught in the middle. I was thinking about getting the spoon b-pipe until i heard about the problems. I then thought about the T1R b-pipe, but now it seems either pipe would rattle. I contacted aj-racing and they said the new batch of T1Rs dont rattle and fit perfect, but how can i know this for sure? You guys know of any other b-pipes? I have a spoon n1 axle back waiting to be installed, im just trying to find the perfect b-pipe.

Any idea how much would it cost to have the bottlenecks removed as well as a reputable place where it can be done?
