Screw power. Get a working keyboard that stops auto caps locking when you're typing the subject.

But to answer your question, if you've already swapped out the flywhell and final drive, go for a "JDM" header.

what are you talking about? thats not whats gonna give you the most power under $1000...

Buy a set of Carbon Fiber Altezzas and get two big bottles for a NOS system.

(seriously)

Actually, Soup is right. NAWWWS is probably the most noticable power mod under $1000.

He should go for a 250 shot. It'll be very noticable.

why Dont you guys be helpful and actually answer his question...this is honda-TECH right.

I spent my money on a T1R cat back exhaust and T1R cat. Maybe add a header and intake to that...in my opinion.

I think you could do better than that for a grand.

Hondata + tuning + some intake/header.... that's the best.

or cams + tuning if you can get it for a G. not sure if thats possible.

they may have been being smart asses but nitrious by far will always be the biggest bang for the buck, esp under 1,000 dollars.

STFU.

You post the most OPEN ENDED question POSSIBLE.

Have you bothered to search, read, or do anything? Or you just want us to regurgitate 4 years of honda tech to you on a gold platter?

Do the work, come back and ask INFORMED questions.

It's like asking 'what tires should i get' with no intended purpose listed, or 'what brake pads are the best' or 'what should i do with my $1000', those questions are unanswerable without more info, and are mostly pointless because there are so many different categories, uses, etc.

BTW - Nitrous is the best thing to do for $1000. You could probably run it very safely for that much. You asked.... It's up to you whether or not you want to use it.

Thats a waste of cash, in terms of power/money ratio.

with too much boost with NOS, you will **** up your engine
with spec A cam, it pulls hard when the vtec kicks in and it doesn't require you to change the valvetrain
also you never have to refill that NOS ****

this is the basic set up other than header and exhaust which will give you noticable gain... when he saves up some more money, then he can go to change the valvetrain and CTR piston, finally get the B cam, it will at least give him 250whp

in my opinion, this is the more reliable and fun way to mods the car

nitrous isnt forced induction smart guy and running nos within reason will give VERY reliable results...and toda As are known to have great midrange not to have H4rD m4D vT3c m4N!

omg... i dun understand why people in H-T forum loves to agrue with people, especially INTEGRA TYPE R forum

i live in canada and this country doesn't have that many good people doing this kinda work and it is very hard to find a dyno machine here to dyno my car and spend those expensive dyno hours just to prove you the nb.

but you can go to SEARCH, many people with this set up and they CLAIM that it does make around 250 whp with proper tuning...

by the most accurate answer to this topic starter. YES, NOS will give him to the most noticable gain under 1000 buckz. my opinion is that changeing A cam can gives him reliable power but it won't pull as hard as NOS

also i wanna say that some people in this forum are REALLY mean, they won't help you at all when you post question, but they will flame you instead

if you don't agree my point of view, you can post some more suggestions for the original topic starter and he will decide. there is no point to challeging my opinion...

as you said it can be reliable with NOS, then please tell him how many shots and with what set up. THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR
