Any good shops in SoCal that do FD installs?
I've heard this is one of the best mods that can be done on an S2000. Even though the final drive itself is pretty inexpensive, the labor is what makes the modification an expensive one.
So my question is, where have you guys in SoCal with aftermarket FD's in your trannie gone to get them installed? After searching through the forums, i figured that the s2000 is one of the hardest cars out there to squeeze power out of. Instead of using power to increase my acceleration, i was thinking of just shortening all the gears. I don't really care about top speed runs cause i've never taken any car over 120mph before (too scared). Would you guys say this is a good first mod for me?

I used Tony Fuchs Racing to do mine after several others had used him.
Good work, reasonable price. He also has extensive experience building F20Cs.
