Default will this work? or am i asking for trouble

i was thinking of doing this:

b16a3 head with:
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk 2 stage 2 cams
skunk valves/ (skunk or crower valve springs)

pct or cp pistons in b18c1 block
stock rods and crank

310cc fuel injectors
190 lph fuel pump

we get 91-94 octane in this area at pump, but i was wondering what compression that might yield and or what power i might expect. does anyone have any recomendations as far as valve springs go? i just read that crower uses eibach and that the eibach springs were good. cp pistons i am unsure of which to get. i want ot hover around the 11.5-12 cr area but how will adding a b16 head to a gsr block affect the gsr's stock compression? will it lower? i used that c-speed racing site to calculate the estimated compression, but it just doesnt seem right. any input would be greatly appreciated

if you use the b16 head then it will lower the C/R just a bit... the b16a head dont have the welded chambers like the gsr head does... i dont see why it wont work with this setup... there are guys running 12.5 cr on 91octane...

Go w/ CP pistons.

you can run up to 12.5 CR w/ 93/94 octane.

Hit me up if you need the CP pistons.

i was really considering the cp pistons but then i didnt knwo which to get. they have applications for b16 b18 and b18c5 -_-; i was just getting confused being that my engine already is mix and matched. is it possible to weld the chambers? or is that mroe trouble than its worth. should i just see if i can get a minor p&p and or mill it down a bit?

also whats the advantage to oversized valves over stock spec

also, would it be alright to keep my stock rods?

what compression will i be looking at and what rough crank horsepower migh i experience?

on pump gas i wouldnt go higher than 12.5:1 but at that compression i would recommend Port and Polish.

ctr pistons will yield like ~12:1 with b16a but forged pistons will handle the heat better.

you have to decide on a compression first.....

well, i was having a hard time because if i put 11.5:1 compression pistons in the gsr block, then use the b16 head, compressino will be lower than what i would expect. but by how much...

if you havent bought the pistons yet then just buy ones that make the compression you want.... its not that hard........

b16 head drops compression by 0.2:1.....
