just installed an AEBS manifold but not completely. i ripped the hose where the PCV valve fits into that comes from under the intake manifold that fits into the round cutout hole between the 3rd and 4th runner. it ripped when i tried to squeeze it in the hole.
just wanted to know if any one is running a hose from the valve cover down, eliminating the PCV valve. just need to know if i should go get that new hose with the plastic female end piece where the PCV valve fits into. because thats what i ripped. sorry for any confusion. thanks

JUST RUN IT OFF THE BACK OUT THE MANI AND INDER IT. TURN THE PCV BACKWARDS AND GET A LITTLE MORE HOSE. I DID IT AND IT WORKED JUST FINE.

sounds like something clever, but unfortunately im not picturing what you did. you turned the pcv valve backwards?? not sure
oh, and the aebs mani doesnt have a nipple for the pcv valve hose.
so i would have to run a hose from the valve cover straight to the bottom.

IT HAS A NIPPLE FOR THE PCV... ITS ONE OF THE LARGE PORTS ON THE BACK OF THE MANI. ITS RIGHT NEXT TO THE BRAKE BOOSTER PORT.
ILL SEE IF I CAN SCROUNGE UP A PIC WHENB I GET HOME.

i already used those 2 ports actually. one of the hoses is the one that runs from that back port and around to the front on of the manifold and to the purge tank or some **** if you know what i mean. if i use that port for the pcv valve line, then i cant hook up that purge hose.
i pretty just wanted to know if i can go with out the pcv valve itself and run a straight hose?? or if anyone has done it.

or should i not run the pcv valve to anything. i have a breather on my valve cover. i dont see how it makes sense to run a hose from the manifold to the pcv valve, does it???

even AEBS wont get back to me. why would they make the manifold with one less port for the vaccuum hoses. i have to pick to run the pcv valve hose or the purge hose whatever its called unless i make a T. but has everyone been doing that.
bro i got problems with my intake mani but all my hoses have the same amount of ports but they are in differnt locations and i dont know if i put em on right becasue now when i turn my car over it revs to its max potential and this is witht the throtle cable off . . . .. any advice from you would help me
Sorry to bump, but i'm guessing u got your issues worked out?
I installed the aebs mani about a month ago and my idle has been at 2.5k since then. I just figured out today that its problaby because i am not runnign the pcv valve. I am running a straight hose from the back of the manifold down to the catch can.
