I have a complete very little use Focal Utopia 165w with 2 sets of Tn-51 tweeters. These absolutely one of the best sounding speakers ever offered in car audio. I had these running off a Arc 4150 and man it will make the hair on your body stand up and give you that tingling goose bumps feeling all over!!!You know that feeling they are so good!!! Has a very open and warm soundstage. Listen to all your old music and find details that you never knew existed till now!!!Unfortunately Ive been bitten by the speed bug so I need to sell to fix up my car!!! Very expensive hobby.
Here is what you get:
1) 2 6.5 inch focal utopia woofers
2) 4 1 inch focal tn-51 tweeters
3) 2 focal 2 way passive crossovers
4) original boxes, manuels and serial number card
They are in excellent conditon!!! No trades!!!
Only asking $450 for everything!!! Serious peeps only!!! Contact me at: crxsir121@aol.com -or- 858-603-3071. Thanks

if u paid more than $1,500 for ur platinums, i think u could have gotten something much better for that price.
alpine f#1 status 2 way set, it costs about $1,500 and i think they sound better than rainbow reference, which is rainbows flagship line.

yeah 1,500 for 1 mid range, 1 tweeter and crossover(Alpine f1 Components). So I would have to buy1 pair for $3000. Sorry I'm not Donald Trump. I thought about going that route=(
i believe the F1 2 way set is sold individually just like teh Type X flagships, but teh regular type X are sold in pairs. Both 3 way sets are also sold in pairs.
If any of you are interested....here's an article comparing the Rainbow Reference, Alpine Type X, DLS Iridium, and Morel Hybrid's

where was this review from. i didnt read i just looked at the last page. i dont really believe in reviews, i get the feeling that which ever company pays the most money will get the better review. i just let my ears decide for me.
I think it was done in Car Audio and Electronics....
Regardless, 95% of the audio market a) can't afford such speakers, and b) would never be able to audition all of them
You can never trust a mag fully, but at least it gives you an idea...

yup your right car audio and electronics magazine reviewed the 2 way alpines and they are in fact $1500 each set and you need 2 so it is $3000 for the whole set. I have the magazine right in front of me. Thats why I cant afford them=(
