Default b16a3 w/ b16b pct pistons yielding 12.1:1 c/r ?

I thought b16b pistons in a b16a2 or a3 block would make 10.8:1 c/r

I got the response of:
http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...c.php
The b16b block is basically the same as the b18c1 or b18c5 but with a different crank, rods, and pistons. If you use the link provided to compute compression, be sure to change the piston-to-deck clearance at the bottom of the page to -0.017. Then you will see 12to1 compression. I have built one of these before and measured the piston to deck height my self.

Can anyone clarify this ?

I have a feeling he is incorrect.

your right they use the same block b16b is basically a destroked b18c but the site is correct and i know where you made a mistake. where it saids stroke (mm) you have to change it to 77.00 then you will get the right compression ratio.
