Default Stripping paint off wheels??

I got a set of 95 GSR wheels that are painted graphite. I want to know how do I strip the paint off and get them back to how they used to be nicely polished?

In addition to using aircraft stripper or something similar, you would have to sand it down using different grits of course, and reapplying some light clearcoat to protect it. It will never be exactly like the old ones of course but very close.

personally I would use a clear coat...lots of thin coats is better than one thick coat, I would say anywhere from 3-5 depending on how you like the look after each coat

soak it in aircraft remover...you can buy it at kragen, pep boys, autozone..... After you spray it on real heavy...let it sit until you can scrape off the paint with a stick/toothbrush/etc.....BE SURE NOT TO GET ANY OF THIS STUFF ON YOUR SKIN!!! IT WILL BUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRNNNN!!!!!!!!!! Once its soft, just hose it off!

Aircraft stripper will take the paint off. But along with it will go the shine and original protectent seal assuming it wasn't scuffed before it was painted. If it wasn't scuffed than don't clear coat just buff. If it was scuffed than you might need to clear.
