I have a 95 teg ls. The vales make a loud noise as if the rocker arms are not snug on the camshaft lobe.I adjusted them to factory specs. But I have bigger camshafts (Crane Came Stage 2). Now it says the valve setting is Intake 0.004mm and exshuast 0.008mm on the card I got with the camshafts.. My feelr gauge only has .04 and .07.

My question is there different feeler gauges. .008 seems real close. Any advice would be great thanks.

 

When you say your gauges are .04 & .07 I HOPE you mean .004 & .007.

 

yeas there is different feeler gauges...
from .07 to .007 is a world of a difference hope your not driving like that.

 

I know what the different settings on the gauge, but I didn't realize that .10=.004us. And since I have bigger cams I did't know that you have to adjust them with the lobes up. I just did it on what the Helms told me... I'll try this afternoon.
