ok while drive in the sno wi noticed this noise, well one wheel was in the snow on wheel was on pavment, i went to move and i hear this deep humminin noise coming form the engine bay, and it seems everytime one wheel has good traction and the other has poor traction it makes this noise therefor i feel it is the lsd

what LSD is this?stock ITR?i've never noticed any noise from mine,other than a little ratcheting noise when making tight,low-speed turns.

yeh factory R lsd. i mean if i have one wheel w/ grip and one in the snow, then accelerat slowly then there is no noise, but if i take off mildly hard then i will hear it.

 

i have heard that noise in my R as well. i was in grass and the tires spun a little and i can hear a humming noise. it also happened in the snow, which it happened a lot sooner. i think it is just the LSD working, but i honestly do not know. i did not think much of it because it does not sound like it is malfunctioning.
