Yep, you can modify your stock rear lower control arm to fit.

i was thinking of chopping/shaving off the bushing until the shock fits. is this safe? what would you recommend doing?

I stopped by the local machine shop and they said the only way to chop/shave the bushing is to take it out first. By taking it out they might cause some damage to the bushing during the process, so they said its better to buy a new bushing and have it chopped/shaved before putting it on the LCA. Since I have to buy new bushings I was wondering if EK bushings would fit on GSR LCAs so I wouldn't have to ruin new bushings?

i think the main differnce is the spring rates for EK was different from the GSRs, the piston diameter should be the same
