Joe Alaniz welded my combustion chambers for me, and while he was at it, I asked him to flow the head for me. The head was a B16A2 head done by Tom at Portflow. Joe used a stock b16 for comparison. The gains were substantial.

I am working on it. I found a way to post perfect pics, but one snag-the links are temporary and only last for about 30 minutes before they revert to red X's. If I use the normal Photo Island or Image Station links, the pictures are too small.

This will last about 30 minutes.
The link does not really show it full size-I can e-mail the graph to whoever is really interested, until I figure out how to make it bigger.
Here is the Image Station link : if you use the orig.jpg, you get the "sorry blah blah blah" message.

not to discredit Joe any, as his work is surely good, but why, when the industry standard is 28" H20, do his tests seem to be performed at 10"? i thought that it was better to test throughout a broad range (e.g. 10"-100") and for the sake of comparison perhaps somehow scale down to 28". just curious.

I don't know why Joe uses 10 inches, but this head is not even his work. It is Portflow work, so Joe did not really have anything to gain by inflating the figures. I guess that 10" is what works for him...?

No pics of the head-I should have taken some. Joe did not cc the chambers after welding, but he guestimated about 41.5-42 cc's.
