Ok I emailed him, he said:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">im not sure the bike dosnt show signs of being wrecked but i dont think the plastics are the same color underneath.possibly stripped at one time</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'll get it inspected before I buy it, and if I get it cheap enough I'll do a black paint job ala "Ghostrider"

140 in parts? Can't you get the whole bike painted a color like that at the dealer for 500 dollars?

140 was the first quote he got for the primer, base color, clear coat, flex additive, activator and thinner... he ended up using spray cans to paint, and a spray gun to apply the clear coat. He didnt say what it ended up costing, but I bet it was well below 100

That just smells of shady. 3 word description? Are you kidding? It's stated as a repo, has barely any mileage and is a repaint. Think, who would repaint a new bike... w/ a ghetto *** paint job? B/c it got dropped at least. I wonder why the bank repo'd it... look at the $20 paint job. Not enough feedback to make me feel comfortable and the lack of communication doesn't help at all. I would walk away but it is your money. Seems like a lot to me for that gix6. I don't buy into the model year mumbo

Seems a little shady to me. Usually anything repainted has been dropped. It doesnt sound safe enough for me. I mean realistically how much are you going to save on buying this bike? $500.00 - $1000.00 if that ? I would just go lowball a couple local clean bikes. I think you can get a gsxr600 for around 5,000.00! I say

1. its a repo so its been treated like absolute ****, would you baby a bike if you knew it would going to be repo'd in 10 days??
2. its been down, with that ugly cheap paint job theres no way it hasn't been down, the guy doesn't even know, so hes just playing dumb..
3. its not worth ANYTHING to resell
choice is yours but your making a huge mistake...hah

what about this one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...50029

The only problem for me is that is 3 hours up into the mountains and I don't have anyway to transport a bike when it's snowing...

it says in the vehicle condition, "mechanicly sound and good tires chain ect. bad paint job". Y da hell would someone repaint a bike like that if it hasnt been laid down. Its been laid down....thats a given.

imo, not worth it. Look around for better deals

Does anyone know where I can find a mid 90's cbr600 that'd make a good stuntbike/learner bike?
