Default type r/gsr tranny in ls

does anyone have any 1/4 miles with a ls engine with a type r or gsr tranny. Will putting either one of these tranny in your engine do any harm. Thanks.

Not that vague, but hard to find an answer for.

No damage that I can think of, it's the same as the manual LS trannies except for the ratios. I have a GSR tranny in LS.

As for quarter mile times, I'd expect them to be about .2 faster or so.

gsr tranny will drop .1 maybe.. its not that much shorter than an LS.. itr is a whole nother story. .2 is possible from a gsr tranny.. .3 even from an LS
