The ones for the EG/EK will fit, just get those.

By the way, welcome to Honda-Tech.

If he is running itr rear struts and the rear lca, he CANNOT use the same ones the EG/EK use.

You'll need to search around, but there is at least one company that is making a R rear LCA in billet aluminum.

What doesn't make sense though, is how can a simple hole get stripped? Nothing actually bolts into the LCAs front/rear when dealing with the swaybars. Did the hole actually rip out and is larger than before? If so, I'd try adding larger washers to fill the space and spread the load.

Didn't see him specify front or rear, but it's true, the rear one's won't bolt up, but the front ones will.

its the rear that I'm talkin about. the lower arm is threaded so that the sway bar link will screw into the arm. that thread is stripped.

Noone makes aluminum front lca's so that's a moot point.

The only after market rear lca's that I've seen is function7. Do a search for function lca

Personally, I'd just buy a new OEM replacement for about 1/4 the price of the aftermarket pair.

or drill it out and use a bolt/nut

or have a shop weld a new nut in there.

Hey Dan how about losing the ******* attitude. You and everyone else who make it common practice to spread hearsay are what make internet message boards into the **** they've become.

RinBlue, email the manufacturer of the arms. They are in high demand so there may be a waiting list. sales@function-7.com

No, I don't work for them. But the fact that you wouldn't order from them so you say they're closed is bullshit.

Wow, another thread gone to ****. I can always rely on Honda-Tech's finest to **** a thread up. Thank you for being mature and friendly.

To answer your question. There are no aftermarket companies to date that I know of that makes a lower control arm for the ITR.

I would advise you to just purchase a set of used or brand new rear lower control arms.

You're kidding, right? Did you read this thread before you replied?

Nobody makes an aftermarket rear LCA for ITR:

Hahaha,

Function-7's have only been advertised as being sold through HybridGarage. If one searches on here they will find that HybridGarage has failed to complete orders, and failed to notify customers of anything. Myself included - had to go ahead and have a charge reversed on my CC after I went 2 months without word or any contact or product from the company.

The Function-7 website has little to no info on it....it would help us all if you provided more information about ordering them, and how long it would take for an order to be fulfilled.....AS WELL AS providing more info on your affiliation with HybridGarage.

I assume your reply was directed toward me.

Function-7 products as far as I know are sold only through HybridGarage. HybridGarage is not closed as was falsely stated in a previous post. Whether or not orders are taking longer than they should, not being filled, etc -- I don't know.

If you'd like more info on the arms or want to order them, email sales@function-7.com as I said before. I have no way to know how long an order will take to fill as I do not make, sell, or ship the product. I simply provided this information as a help to the original poster who was looking for aftermarket control arms.

I am not affiliated with HybridGarage. I know the owner, but I do not benefit from the company in any way.

Try SPC. I know of a GSR using these and they look to be pretty good quality.

Nevermind not for TYPE R'S

Justin,
Appreciate your clarification and candor in the matter.

I'm not sure who started the [original] comment about Hybrid being closed, but for all intentions the store is as good as closed until these order problems are formally addressed. It's not fair to the customer when the company takes an order, charges for it, and then never ships or contacts that customer for months.

If you are in contact with the owner have him drop me or the messageboard a line about the status of the business. I had a wholesale account with him but all was dropped after I made a test order as a consumer and experienced what I wrote above.
