i'm just wondering what the difference is between the 3.2tl and the 3.2tl-s engines is....i know the s has 260 hp and the tl has 225 hp....so is the difference just comp ratios and internals?? could i just swap in internals from the type s to get the same hp and tq numbers?

probably could swap it all in, but you would probably be cheaper to buy a type-s engine swap and sell your tl engine

 

why not just buy a type s? i would assume anyone who wanted high hp would opt for a type s rather then base tl. also i think the styling alone would make me buy a type s.
