Default 5th Gen Shifting

hey doods, this is my first post...
anyway
when you race or do the 1/4 mile at what RPMs do you rev it too before you drop the clutch and when you shift, what RPMs do you shift at?
does that make sense?

You would be a fool to rev it up then just drop the clutch.. What works for me is 4K rpms, feather clutch, add some peddel, get RPMs up to 5k, fully release clutch...

Kinda hard to explain....

For a 5th gen, when you get the hang of racing better, i recommend a 6k launch. This is only when you get the hand of your car for real. Basically this isnt meant for newbs. Feather the clutch and modulate the gas. When you feel the wheels are catching traction mash the gas to the floor and shift on 8k on the stock tach.
