...just recently this girl i know cracked her mugen style lip on her 4dr. she says she wants to replace it with a type-r piece...my question to you guys and gals is which one to get? jdmshit.com has gotten pretty good reviews back, and i have heard mixed opinions about the ebay specials. i have also noticed that some of them do not look anything like the OEM lip. i searched for some 4dr lip threads but i can not find the ones that i had checked out before. i have also heard that some ek lips fit like the si lip...but i don't know if any others fit from the ek camp! the plan is to create a thread that will show examples of lips that will fit the 4dr or give in depth descriptions of which ones can be modded to fit, so that the same question will not have to be asked to many more times. oh yeah links also help out a lot too.

all and any help will be greatly appreciated!

they asked for 4dr/ferio lips, i dont personally own a 92-95 civic but aren't the coupe/4dr/hatches front bumpers different? i believe so

 

the hatch and the 2 door are the same and the 4 door is a little wider i beleive and the sides extend further. those are the only differances i know of. I would like to see some nice lips too.. to a good topic for us 4 door owners

as i said already i did search and i did not find a good link! the link you just posted is a link for coupes/hatchbacks not 4dr's! the 4dr's are different from the other models.

Basically, unless you plan on swapping on a 2dr bumper like I did you have to buy a lip made for a 4dr. There is a difference in the width. They do make Type-R Style lips specifically for the 4dr.

asiandoood...looking very nice! never gave the rs lip too much thought, however it does look pretty clean!

as for the response above, i know you have to buy a 4dr lip, however i could have sworn that some of the other h-t members with 4dr's have put the 99si lip...or ek lip's on there 4dr. before. thanks for the help though!

then your lip choice will get bigger...

the body's under the knife already dog....

but i really like the ww rs lip though..

plus the 2/3 door bumper looks better imo

Personally I think the Mugen Lip looks better on a 4DOE than a Type R Lip. But

man these Sedans are so nice, wish I was still interested in hooking up my car

still.

Wow that looks good. Personally, i wish somebody would make the Spoon replica lips for the 4 doors. I think they would look sick
