Grand-Am Cup 1-30-04 Type R Pics
To keep this semi-on topic, I am posting the R pics only. There is a link to the post in the Road Racing forum. As of now, it's only a link to the imagestation album. I don't have time to post them each individually right now. In the album, there are random pics of spectators' cars (NSX, S2000, Viper, etc...), race cars and some track shots. Enjoy

I have to chime in, blast me if you want, this is for those that said the new DC5 is **** compared to the old DC2. The RSX Type S, not even a Type R version ran +2 and +4 seconds faster lap times than the 2 ITRs. Those bastards at Honda and using the shitty McPherson strut setup. Sorry, I know some of you do like the DC5, but there are some that said it is complete **** because of the suspension. Well here are cars in race spec, I don't know what the rules allow in these races, but 2 and 4 second per lap is huge in racing.

Where did you take those pictures at? Coletti motorsports is about 1 hour from my house in Ohio, and i am down there alot. That guy has a good business, and more Hype R's. I think he owns something like 8 of them.

Great pics man I wish I could have made it this weekend, my teacher was helping out with a Grand am car there. He said it rained bad up there.

Yeah, I see that one, too. There's a yellow one racing in grand-am in my area (i've watched him at VIR) His name on neons.org is "the fat and the furious"
He was actually having problems with overheating, but other than that, was running pretty strong. I believe other than mopar coilovers and radiator, it was a pretty much stock car.
I've got a short video clip and a pic or two of it running at VIR somewhere around here...
