congrats to Cobalt for winning the 24!!!
To those who may not know, Cobalt's new endurance pad was used on the Bell Motorsports car that won the 24 hour of Daytona today!!!!!
Huge congrats to Andie!! and great job to all at Cobalt......
btw...Bell was exclusively using PFC before they tested and switched to Cobalt's pads.....
therefore it looks like the pro teams are only a year or so behind a lot of H-T members.....
Again...congrats Andie and Cobalt, that is one big-time win in one big-time race!!

that was an exceptional race to watch today, one of the more exciting ones i have seen. when the suntrust driver had to add 5 gallons to get back to pit after running out....wow awesome. and the topper was watching the nascar boys try and ride out the win, but the car failed with like 17 minutes to go
The pad compound that was actually used was very simular to the VR compound he sells to us.. Andie called me on the way back from the track, the dude was on such a hi!

Many "thank yous" for the kind words and continued support from Honda-Tech.com members.
Regarding the Rolex 24 at Daytona this past weekend, it was a distinct pleasure and privilege to work with the Bell Motorsports Daytona Prototype team/program, and to share in their success the past weekend. The Bell Motorsports team, from the crew and management to the drivers, is a world-class operation; I was particularly impressed by their operational logistics and strategic planning for and during the race itself.
The Bell Motorsports/Kodak Daytona Prototype was using the Cobalt spec(VR-E) compound in the front and the rear. We were able to achieve excellent, consistent braking performance throughout the race, and had exceptional pad and rotor wear.
On behalf of Cobalt, I very much appreciate the continued support and enthusiasm of our Honda-Tech.com customers, without which Cobalt's rapid growth and development of world-class products would not have been possible.
All the best,
Andie Lin

"Build it and they will come."
There's truth behind that statement, and it's great to see a grassroots operation enter champion status. Congrats, and I can't wait to try out my spec.VR pads at VIR next week.
